Applies to: Hosts and Freelancers purchasing any paid promotional products on Unaffiliate (e.g., Featured Listing, Category Boosts, Homepage Tiles, Email/Push placements, Search Boosts, Sponsored Collections).
These terms govern paid promotional products (“Marketing Boosts”). They supplement the Master Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Community Standards, Advertising & Marketing Compliance Policy, and Payments & Payouts Policy. If there’s a conflict, the Master Terms control.
Account must be active, verified, and in good standing (no open compliance holds, valid COI for Hosts, required licenses for services).
Listings promoted must meet quality standards (accurate photos/descriptions; no deceptive claims).
Unaffiliate may reject or pause promotions that violate policy or law.
Featured Listing: Priority tiles on category/search pages.
Search Boost: Temporary ranking lift for defined keywords/geo segments.
Homepage/Category Tile: Placement on high-traffic surfaces.
Sponsored Collections/Editorial: Inclusion in curated modules (disclosed as “Sponsored”).
Email/Push Placement: Inclusion in lifecycle or campaign sends (audience/volume not guaranteed).
Retargeting/Display: Off-site or on-site ad units where available.
All paid placements are clearly disclosed as “Sponsored,” “Promoted,” or equivalent.
Boosts influence visibility but do not guarantee impressions, clicks, bookings, position, or revenue.
Organic ranking signals (relevance, quality, compliance, reviews) still apply.
Rotations, A/B tests, and frequency caps may affect exposure.
We may adjust algorithms to improve user experience and reduce spam or manipulation.
Where available, you can select:
Geography (city/region radius), dates, categories, budget/duration.
Keyword themes (for Search Boost).
Audience filters consistent with anti-discrimination law. Targeting cannot be used to exclude protected classes.
You warrant you own or have rights to all creative (images, text, logos, video).
Claims must be truthful and substantiated (FTC truth-in-advertising). No bait-and-switch, unverifiable superlatives (“best ever”) or false scarcity.
All promos will carry platform-standard sponsorship disclosures.
Illegal services, unlicensed activities, safety hazards, adult/obscene content, discriminatory targeting, or any content violating Community Standards, Licensing & Permits, or law.
No off-platform payment inducements or attempts to circumvent platform fees/policies.
Products may be flat-fee (fixed term) or budget-based (daily/total cap).
Unless specified otherwise, promotions auto-renew at the end of term. You can disable auto-renew in the dashboard before the renewal date/time.
Charges are due upfront; taxes may apply. See Payments & Payouts for refund timelines.
You can request a pause or edit (geo, dates, creative). Changes may take up to 24 hours to propagate and may affect delivery.
Cancellations:
Flat-fee products: refundable only if never served (0 impressions) or if Unaffiliate cancels for convenience.
Budget-based products: unspent budget is refundable if we approve a mid-term cancellation; spent budget is non-refundable.
We may pause or cancel for policy violations; in that case, spent budget is non-refundable.
Dashboards may show indicative metrics (impressions, clicks, CTR, add-to-cart, bookings-attributed).
Attribution models are probabilistic; multi-touch paths mean totals may not equal raw booking counts.
Fraud filtering and invalid-click suppression may adjust reported numbers.
Unaffiliate does not guarantee impressions, clicks, bookings, ROI, or revenue lift. Historical performance does not predict future results.
We use campaign performance data to optimize delivery and improve the marketplace.
Personal data use follows the Privacy Policy. Sensitive segments are not exposed to advertisers. Aggregated/anonymous insights may be shared.
Paid boosts do not alter review collection or moderation. Reviews must remain independent and comply with our Reviews policy and FTC guidelines.
If a listing/service requires permits or licenses (e.g., alcohol, beauty, tattoo, childcare, security), you must maintain them during promotion. Non-compliance may trigger removal without refund.
You grant Unaffiliate a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, resize, and display your promotional creative and listing metadata solely to run the purchased placements.
We may suspend, refuse, or remove any promotion that:
Misleads users or violates law/policy,
Creates safety, legal, or reputational risk,
Attempts to manipulate ranking or reviews.
Repeated violations can lead to account restrictions.
You agree to indemnify Unaffiliate against claims arising from your promotional content, lack of rights to creative, unlawful targeting, or regulatory non-compliance.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Unaffiliate is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to promotions. Our total liability for a promotion is limited to the fees you paid for that specific promotion.
These terms follow the governing law and arbitration/class action waiver set out in the Master Terms & Conditions.
