Safety Shield is Unaffiliate’s protection program, offering supplemental coverage for eligible bookings. It helps safeguard against property damage, liability claims, and unforeseen incidents.

What’s Covered

• Up to $1,000,000 in liability coverage (Elite Hosts + Enterprise only).
• Up to $100,000 in property damage protection.
• Only applies if the host maintains an active Certificate of Insurance (COI).

Pro Tip
Safety Shield is supplemental — it does not replace host insurance obligations. Hosts should always carry their own policy.

Troubleshooting Suggestions

• Claim denied? Ensure it was filed within 72 hours and meets policy terms.
• If your listing doesn’t show “Safety Shield Eligible,” verify your COI is current.
• For high-profile or large events, consider adding separate event insurance.
