Unaffiliate listings are designed for commercial and creative use spaces, not residential rentals. That’s why our structure is different from most platforms. Instead of bedrooms and beds, we focus on areas, capacity, and add-ons that reflect how real work and events take place.
This article provides a big-picture overview of how listings are organized. It will help you understand the framework before you dive into the details of building your first listing.
Core Listing Structure
- Space Type – General category of listing (Studio, Event Hall, Gallery, etc.).
- Number of Areas / Sections – Distinct parts of your space (e.g., Main Hall, Lounge, Kitchen).
- Area Name / Section Name – Label each area clearly (“Studio A,” “VIP Lounge,” “Conference Room”).
- Capacity (People) – Maximum number of guests allowed.
- Seating / Workstations – Number of chairs, desks, or functional setups available.
- Layout / Setup Type – How the space can be arranged (Banquet, Classroom, Open Floor).
- Restrooms – Number of restrooms available.
- Total Spaces – Useful if you’re listing multiple rooms, floors, or wings.
- Square Footage – Size of the space in commercial units (sq ft / m²).
Add-Ons (Unique to Space Listings)
Hosts can offer Add-Ons that are tied directly to their space. These are extras that enhance a booking but remain connected to the venue.
- Add-On Name – Example: “On-Site Staff,” “Lighting Package,” “Extra Cleaning.”
- Add-On Price – Cost per event, per day, or per hour.
- Add-On Description – Explain what’s included.
Important: Add-Ons are different from Freelancer Services. Freelancers list their own services independently in the Freelancers marketplace.
Other Listing Elements
In addition to Areas and Add-Ons, each listing includes:
- Facilities & Amenities – Parking, Wi-Fi, AV equipment, kitchens, accessibility features.
- Listing Category – The type of work or events the space supports (Beauty, Fitness, Culinary, Medical, etc.).
- Media Uploads – High-quality photos (minimum size 1440 x 900 px) are required to showcase your space.
- Pricing & Additional Fees – Base rate plus optional charges (city fee, cleaning fee, overtime, etc.).
- Booking Type – Choose between Instant Booking or Request to Book.
- Cancellation Policy – Select from preset policies or apply for a custom one.
- Availability & Calendar – Manage your business hours, availability, and blackout dates.
Each of these elements has its own detailed article in the Hosting section of the Help Desk.
Pro Tip
Think like a guest: focus on what makes your space usable and versatile (capacity, layout, amenities) instead of what it isn’t (no bedrooms, no beds).
Troubleshooting Suggestions
- If your preview card still shows old labels like “bedrooms” or “beds,” clear your cache and confirm new labels are applied.
- If your photos are rejected, check the size (minimum 1440 x 900 px).
- For issues with pricing or calendar setup, see the Hosting → Managing Listings section or contact support.
